Paramount Pictures’ Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Transforms Quebec Economy With Over $150 Million Spent Across the Province

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, JUNE 9, 2023 – New data released today demonstrates the significant impact of Paramount Pictures’ Transformers: Rise of the Beasts with more than $150 million spent by the production across Quebec.

Filming over 98 days, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts paid over $51.5 million in local wages and spent over $98.8 million at local Quebec businesses on production-related goods and services, including:

  • more than $5.8 million spent on hardware and lumber;
  • over $2.2 million on truck rentals;
  • more than $1.7 million on catering; and
  • over $1 million for lodging.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts combined the talents of over 1,895 local Quebec cast and crew to bring to life the latest installment of the beloved franchise.

Returning to the action and spectacle that have captured moviegoers around the world, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce a whole new faction of Transformers – the Maximals – to join them as allies in the existing battle for earth. Directed by Steven Caple Jr. and starring Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback, the film arrives in theatres June 9, 2023.
