Criteria for Canadian Public List of Sites Distributing Film & TV Content Online

In order for an offering to qualify for inclusion in the list it must meet the following criteria:

1. Content Type: Full length (not only clips), professionally-produced films and/or television shows, which one would see at the movie theater or on broadcast or cable television (i.e. not only internet-specific content).

a) Must have more than one film or TV show.
b) Must have more than one film or TV show licensed by rightsholders

2. Delivery Type: Distributed digitally via the Internet to consumers, regardless of the device used (i.e. not only physical discs ordered online and sent by mail).

3. Access Type: Available to Canadian consumers on-demand, where a consumer can choose a specific film or television show, and download or watch it on-demand (i.e. not only Internet-delivered television feeds, IPTV or similar services).

4. Website Type: Hosted on its website or application – not solely embedded, linked to or pointing to another site. Does not include video search/aggregators/illegal or pornographic sites
